| Being autistic in a non-autistic society can be a lonely and
isolated experience. However, the internet helps many people overcome the
social and communication barriers inherent in autism. Through the use of
group connections, one-on-one
connections, links to autistic people's websites,
books and articles by autistics, and a place
for autistic people to express themselves, we hope to faciliate the
communication of autistics with each other.
There are many autistic people on the internet who are already in contact with each other. This site lists most of these methods of interaction. Sometimes the best way to feel less alone on the planet is to talk to others who think in a similar way or to read their stories. Most of the following pages also contain links to other sites about the same subject area. ![]()
